  1. For agencies who are trying to save time, it would be very beneficial to have a download/print function within Clarity, tied to the enrollment form. Some agencies can enter directly into HMIS, and do not need a paper copy, but there are many agencies who are required to store paper forms. They have to do their enrollments on paper forms, then enter into HMIS. If you could print the form, it would save them a lot of time. Currently, when you print an enrollment form using the basic web browser function, it does not retain the responses to checkboxes, such…

  2. It would be convenient and useful to have a notes section in HMIS where we could enter details about a staffs access changes and/or other notes. In particular I would like to be able to enter why an account was made inactive. This would assist in next steps when a user who was made inactive is requesting to be reactivated.

  3. It would be great to have a program setting where if it is turned ON, a new enrollment can only be made if there is an active referral to the program. We are having the problem where case managers are "jumping the gun" and enrolling a client into a housing program before the referral record is entered in HMIS and then have to "back link" the enrollment to a referral with date problems.

  4. Update the 'Exit' to say 'Program Exit' to make it more clear. Right now it looks like it was an after thought and it is just to xxit the file.

  6. When scanning in or adding clients in the Attendance module, have an actual pop up appear for those who have a public alert.

Currently, an icon will appear next to the client's name and then you must hover over the client name and then click on the public alert to see it.

This causes delays for shelters that need to check in a large number of clients.

An immediate pop up would ensure that End Users have the ability to both quickly check many people in AND catch important public alerts.

  7. Right now, only system administrators can manage user accounts: to reset passwords, lock, or inactivate. These should be access role rights available in the Manager group.

  8. We have the ability to copy the configuration of our Live Clarity production instance to our training instance as a single one-off task. It would be great to automate that task so that it is done automatically on a regular schedule.

  9. Request access to LookML

LookML is a language for describing dimensions, aggregates, calculations, and data relationships in a SQL database. Looker uses a model written in LookML to construct SQL queries against a particular database.

  10. Request for some additional functionality in embedded Looker:

    • Allow access to sub-sub folders in the main reports folder
    • Change interface to an actual folder structure (collapse folders by default, allow expanding) instead of just displaying folder names as headers
    • Allow access to sub folders in agency reports folders
    • Allow users to view look descriptions and dashboard descriptions in embedded Looker. Right now I think they are available in standalone, but only in standalone."

  11. Longitudinal Systems Analysis Report Clarity integration with HUD LSA validation flags and errors

The key idea is that a user wouldn't need to leave the Clarity app to submit an LSA and receive the LSA report flags. Flags are ingested into Clarity, and the Clarity UI can help resolve the flags.

“It seems like if you’ve got control of the LSA Export compiler, and if you’re hashing (storing a persistent record) of the data going into it, it would be simple to connect the dots backward to the origin of the error.

Right now, everyone in the country is doing…

  12. Similar to the way that System Administrators can add custom fields to a Program Set-up screen, it would be helpful to be able to add custom fields to other screen types, especially the user profile screens. This would allow tracking of things like date of training completion, or notes about a user like reasons for locking/inactivating an account, tracking security breaches, or marking roles like who is an agency administrator for billing new user accounts.

  13. It's great that Clarity offers so many access rights, which allows customers to create very specific access roles. It would be a great time savings if we could start creating a new access role by duplicating an existing access role and then adjusting the access rights.

  14. We would be looking to have an option added to the "queueremovereason" picklist that says something along the lines of "Housed in Non-HMIS Inventory", so that when these situations arise end users can remove the client from the Community Queue and select a more appropriate reason for removal.

  16. Hi Clarity Devs,
It would be helpful to have the ability to select the time at which a schedule report should run. Each time I schedule reports for a day, they haven't run by the time I'm up and need them around 6a. Allowing a user-specified time for the report to run instead of an arbitrary time on the selected date would solve this issue.

  17. When Direct Expenses are enabled for a Funding Source, it would be very helpful to add a feature that limits any Service Expenses to be charged in excess of the Fund Amount -ie, Direct Expenses cannot exceed Fund Amount; Total Available > 0. This feature could be added under "Eligibility" or it could be a flag that pops up when a user tries to add a new Service Item. Thanks.

  18. System notifications for Updated Referrals and New Referral Notes are sent only to the staff member who created the referral. This is to request that these automated system notifications also be sent to the Staff Member at the Referred-To Program. Notes are also only visible. This would improve communication between different teams and save referred-to agencies from clicking through each client on the referral list checking for updates.

  19. We would like to please request that the project name be included in Referral Notification emails. When receiving a referral notification, users who have multiple agency access switch from agency to agency until they can open the referral without an “access denied” warning.

  20. Right now the oldest one is first. On almost every screen, the "history" is displayed with the most recent items first. Look at both History tabs, both Assessment tabs, the Program tab, and so on. But when you edit an enrollment and look on the right-side display, the oldest one is first. In order to find out if something recent is missing you have to page through them. This display should show the most recent first like all the other tabs. I tried to paste a screenshot but it did not appear here.
