The Calendar needs to be more functional
We have received feedback from CoC partner agencies about using the calendar:
"When scheduling appointments, first the report of appointments has to be run to see if there's any conflicting appointments.
It takes FOREVER (feels like it) for a report to be run. Then you have to go put in the appointment after the report shows up.
Then you have to rerun the report to make sure the appointment you scheduled is on the guests schedule and wait for FOREVER again....
If there's anyway we could have a quicker way to access each guest's schedule that would be great.

Alert pop up for Attendance module
When scanning in or adding clients in the Attendance module, have an actual pop up appear for those who have a public alert.
Currently, an icon will appear next to the client's name and then you must hover over the client name and then click on the public alert to see it.
This causes delays for shelters that need to check in a large number of clients.
An immediate pop up would ensure that End Users have the ability to both quickly check many people in AND catch important public alerts.

Toggle Services
When we go in to enter services for a CORE Mobile Outreach client, we would like a drop down menu that we can use to toggle services after entering the service dates and vendors. At the moment, we have to enter each individual service one by one, which is extremely repetitive and time consuming.
Example
Service start date: 1/1/2021 Service end date: 1/1/2021

Option to restrict users from adding Vendors
When selecting a vendor in the Service screen, the system currently allows the user to add an option not listed in the Vendor dropdown. It then adds the string the user typed in to the list of Vendor records for their agency. It would be nice to be able to enable/disable this capability for specific services.

Recurring Reports
It would be help to have a recurring schedule options of the reports within the schedule option now. Currently, an user is able to schedule reports for each day they want the report initiated. It would be extremely useful to have an option to run reports daily, weekly, monthly, etc..

Allow Custom Services to be Deleted with the DIT
If System Admins can upload Custom Services through the XML DIT, they should also be able to delete Custom Services. Our organization recently integrated a new agency into HMIS with a large quantity of custom services, but one of those services is misleading and should be removed from the system. We have no way to do this because "custom services are not supported for deletion using the DIT, only HUD-defined services".

Ability to Link a File to a Service
It would be useful to be able to link files to specific services. For example when we enter a Rapid Rehousing financial service I'd like to be able to link the associated file back up to that specific service.

Scheduled reports: Use Schedule Time instead of Schedule Date
Hi Clarity Devs,
It would be helpful to have the ability to select the time at which a schedule report should run. Each time I schedule reports for a day, they haven't run by the time I'm up and need them around 6a. Allowing a user-specified time for the report to run instead of an arbitrary time on the selected date would solve this issue.1 vote -
Enhance Attendance Services list to allow for searching for specific services and see what program each is tied to
The list of attendance services is very large in our community, often resulting in 50+ pages of services. When in the attendance module to select a service to view, we’d like the following enhancements:
Add a search box to allow the user to easily locate the service they want to work with. This should mainly be a search based on service name, but also allow for an advanced search on type (attendance or reservation), program linked with, or service category.

Ability to mark a room offline, with date range and dropdown for reason offline.
Allow for the ability to mark a slot offline (with a date range), as well as a dropdown for the reason offline (maintenance, staff use, etc). This should be able to be configured directly on the bed reservation page by the service provider without having to access the setup/management pages.

Assign multiple people to a single room (to allow for tracking household members or partners).
Allow for the assignment of multiple clients per slot to facilitate household data collection. Currently, only one person can be assigned to a reservation, and this makes households difficult to pull data for. It would be much more streamlined if providers could assign multiple clients to a single room and have that reflected on the slot view as well as when pulling reports/Looks.

Add New Option on Services to Allow/Disallow Future Dates
Can we add a feature that will allow sys. admins to control whether or not users can date services past present date? i.e.: a on/off toggle that can be toggled off, if we don't want users to extend their service dates past today's date.
Reason for this being that many users are getting complacent in recording bed services, so instead of manually inputting services for a day at a time, they record for weeks to months resulting in inaccurate data and reporting.

Ability to reorder slots
Allow for the ability to reorder slots in the service setup. Currently they are limited to the order they were created in. This is an issue when trying to organize rooms that are created later but need to be grouped with other rooms within the same section.

Continuous reservation with no end date
Allow for the option to set reservations without an end date. Currently an end date is required, and it is not always known how long the client will be staying in the bed. This is also to avoid providers having to extend reservations unnecessarily.

Allow notes for all service delivery types
Allow for notes to be recorded for all types of services, regardless of service delivery types. Perhaps this can be a new toggle in the service setup that will show/hide the notes box.

Integrate card reader functionality into the reservation process.
This includes being able to scan a client card to assign them to a reservation, as well as scanning the card to mark the client as present. For marking attendance, this should be set up in a way that allows a provider to continuously scan cards to mark attendance without having to change pages or click between clients. The goal is to use cards to increase the efficiency of the process and reduce time spent clicking on reservation slots.

Link Reservations to Inventory
Link the reservation features with the new Inventory platform. These two functionalities should be closely integrated so that providers can reserve clients to specific rooms/slots/beds, mark attendance, and allow for reporting on how clients are tied to programs and funding sources in the Inventory setup.
