  1. I understand that developers are planning on improvements to the HMIS Population Over Time model and I'd really like to see the it go back farther than two years. If the point of this is longitudinal analysis, it should go back farther, especially given that the LSA looks back three years. Ideally I would like to see it go back to 2012 so we can dig deeper into client histories similar to the canned CLNT-127 report.

  2. Request access to LookML

LookML is a language for describing dimensions, aggregates, calculations, and data relationships in a SQL database. Looker uses a model written in LookML to construct SQL queries against a particular database.

  4. Request for some additional functionality in embedded Looker:

    • Allow access to sub-sub folders in the main reports folder
    • Change interface to an actual folder structure (collapse folders by default, allow expanding) instead of just displaying folder names as headers
    • Allow access to sub folders in agency reports folders
    • Allow users to view look descriptions and dashboard descriptions in embedded Looker. Right now I think they are available in standalone, but only in standalone."

  5. I have many agencies that use the SSOM assessment, this was an assessment created by Bitfocus but there is no report to pull these fields out in a meaningful way and the fields are not available in looker. It would be helpful if these fields were available so reports can be built.

  6. Clarity is not currently meeting our CoC’s need to easily understand what’s due with Assessments and add as needed. There are several points of feedback we have about the Assessments tab within a Program Enrollment, to make it clearer for our end users. This is made more important by the Current Living Situation assessment now being required.

Current issues for our end users are:

    · Current heading is “Status Assessments” which to them = Status Update Assessment

    · “Assessment Due” is unclear- what kind of Assessment is due? Annual, Status Update, Current Living Situation? No way to click through. If…

  7. Using the data analysis tool, customers want to quantify the shelter-utilization migratory movements of clients with multiple emergency shelter entry-exit within a reporting date range – eg: 2 years. For example, a client has emergency shelter entry-exit history and has moved from zipcode 12345 -> 23456 -> 34567 -> 45678. The goal is to quantify each of these zipcode-to-zipcode records (eg: how many clients went from zipcode 12345 to 23456) and map this migration flow using “connect with lines”.

  8. It would be convenient and useful to have a notes section in HMIS where we could enter details about a staffs access changes and/or other notes. In particular I would like to be able to enter why an account was made inactive. This would assist in next steps when a user who was made inactive is requesting to be reactivated.

  9. The system should not allow the program start date to occur after the housing move-in date. The program start date should never occur after the housing move in date. Since the program start date defaults to the current date and allows users to save (after displaying a gentle light-orange warning that does not seem to be a deterrant), this issue continues.

  10. Client Unique Identifier (UID) is only visible on the Client Profile tab. Our users would like to be able to see the UID while navigating through all client-related tabs including History, Service, Programs, etc. Our users suggested including the UID to the right of the client's name in the header.

  12. We know that Current Living Situation needs to be entered anytime there is contact with a client, or at least every 90 days as community-defined, in our Street Outreach and Coordinated Entry programs.

Our Call Center enrolls Coordinated Entry clients; most homeless clients are simultaneously enrolled in Street Outreach. Street Outreach then continues to work with these clients – and it seems would need to enter Current Living Situation updates in both the Street Outreach and Coordinated Entry enrollments, which is redundant.

Can you add a feature in Clarity to cascade CLS updates?

  15. To accommodate data standards compliance, please provide access to response categories 10-15 for data element 4.20 (CE Event: Referral Events) for direct data entry for communities who utilize Clarity for client profile and case management but whose assessment, matching, and referral solutions are external to the Clarity software and who are not in need of the add-on module of Community Queue.

  16. Communities have expressed a desire to re-purpose some HUD System Performance Measures as performance measures at the Agency and/or Program level.

It would be great if Bitfocus would make changes to the System Performance Measures in Looker to facilitate the creation of these new, local performance measures.

  17. When moving an enrollment from one project/program to another due to a data entry error, any services, notes, files etc. do not follow or get moved to the correct enrollment which requires staff to delete the services, notes, files that might have been placed at the incorrect project/program and then re-enter all of those items. It would be helpful if the "move" tool moved all items related to the enrollment.

  19. Some agencies operate programs across multiple HUD CoCs; the agency can only be assigned to a single CoC, but its programs can be assigned to multiple CoCs. Access to a CoC's Coordinated Entry Community Queue is based on the CoC assigned at the agency level, not the CoC(s) assigned at the program level. This prevents programs that operate in other CoC(s) to view the Community Queue(s) for the CoC(s) they operate in.

If an implementation has their Coordinated Entry Type set to "Continuum of Care Based" in their system settings, they should be able to allow agencies that operate programs…

  20. Would it be possible to reveal the SPM Report Date Filter and SPM CoC Code Filter fields in the HMIS Performance Model in the same way that [Reporting Period Start Date] and [Reporting Period End Date] have been made available to allow for more intuitive dashboard filters?

For example, using the Reporting Period Filter on a dashboard with enrollments and Current Living Situation assessments & using the [Reporting Period Start Date] and [Reporting Period End Date] fields to limit to just CLS records that occurred during the reporting period filter dates.
