Add an option to identify pets as a “Household Member"
User Story:
As an outreach worker who works with unhoused individuals and their pets, I want an option to be added that identifies a pet in the “Household Members” section so that we can link the pet to the owner, have an accurate representation of family size, track safety and liability, and know who the client will be taking with them if they were to receive housing. We provide services to clients AND their animals, and we propose a comprehensive set of criteria to be included such as:
- Photo Entry
- Breed
- Age
- Name
- Color
- Microchip status
- Vaccination records
- Size
- Temperament

Customize DIT Client Matching
Currently, Clarity has 2 client-matching options when using the DIT - full and regular. It would be helpful if users could select custom conditions for client matching in addition to full and regular.
In several communities, the data quality of SSNs are poor (often not collected/NULL), as an example. This results in the auto duplication of client records when other client-matching conditions could have been met. Many communities are very clear they do not want to match clients based on SSNs.
As such, more flexibility in client matching would be beneficial for many communities and make the DIT more useful…

Audit log for System Settings > Assessment Processors page
The Assessment Processors page under System Settings does not have an audit log. It is important to be able to track when Assessment Processors are added or removed from this page, so an audit log or some other tracking option would be helpful to track those changes.

Add additional inactivity auto-exit exit date functionality so that exit dates can be set to the date the auto-exit takes place
The use case for this is coordinated entry programs. Currently, inactivity auto-exit functionality is limited, allowing the exit date only to fall on the last date of an eligible activity or the last bednight. These dates are designed to minimize overlaps in housing programs or shelters; however, this is not a concern when it comes to coordinated entry.
Many communities have time limits placed on when someone becomes inactive, and is thus no longer prioritized for coordinated entry. A great option for coordinated entry projects would be an exit date option that allows one to set the exit date for…

Add the ability to assign multiple services at once
In it not uncommon to provide multiple services to a client in one engagement. Entering services one by one can be time consuming, especially with the requirement to include a location (geolocation feature is not always reliable so it often must be done manually). It would be helpful to be able to select multiple services from a list and assign them to the same client with the same date of service and location. It would also be helpful to be able to choose multiples services when using the attendance feature.

Ability to edit denial dates
Having the ability to edit incorrect denial dates is very important for data quality in our CES/CoC. Users enter denial dates and they often don’t reflect the proper date. As of now, we are able to click into the denial date and enter a new one, but get an error message when trying to save changes.

Retain Historical Opening IDs with Referral Connections in Looker
Currently, Opening IDs with referral connections can only be viewed in Looker's CE Model for referral status's that are Pending or Pending - In Process. Retaining historical opening id information for all referral status types (completed, denied, etc.) would allow for trend analysis on the length of time between when a unit is posted and the date a client is referred to the unit.

Ability to copy programs during configuration
A customer inquired about the ability to copy a program when doing configuration. This would be a huge time saver when configuring all programs during an onboarding.
A sys admin could set up one program, copy it for programs that share the same settings, and just need to update the program name.

System Subscription Details License Drilldown
https://help.bitfocus.com/dashboard-subscription-details
It would be helpful to be able to drill down directly in the System Subscription Details section to the lists of users/agencies associated with the license seat count numbers. Currently we utilize Looker reports, but quick access from Clarity would be convenient.4 votes -
Enhance Program Availability Functionality and Customization Options
Currently, communities can add certain custom fields to Program Availability to track details on program openings, however, the ability to customize the availability form is limited (e.g. no dynamic screen options, limited field types, inability to edit default fields). In its current state, communities may choose to use 3rd party form solutions outside of Clarity to track program openings or use workarounds to structure the availability form to capture local information (e.g. using a field as a label).
The Availability Form could be improved by providing screen functionality, offering all field types, and allowing for the editing of default fields…

Multi-CoC Projects: Allow a Primary Site for Each CoC
When reviewing and reporting on data for projects that serve more than one CoC, currently primary site needs to be inferred when the CoC != the Selected CoC as there can only be one primary site in the Clarity UI. This impacts the LSA, HIC, and CSV Export.
The Data Dictionary states that "There must be a one-to-one relationship to 2.02 Project Information if the project only serves one CoC (most common). … It must be possible to associate a project with the CoC code for every geographic area in which the project operates and for which it will be…13 votes -
Ability to link notes from agency-level "Notes" tab to a program enrollment
It would be helpful if we had the ability to link notes that have been entered from the agency-level "Notes" tab to a program enrollment (ex: there would be a "Link from Notes" button within the enrollment's "Notes" tab similar to the "Link from History", "Link from Assessments", and "Link from Files" functions).
For certain reports we pull in the last note entered into a client's program enrollment; if an end user accidentally enters notes into the agency-level Notes tab, those notes won't pull into the report. To fix the issue, they have to delete any notes they entered at…

“Your recent client searches” advanced settings
This is from a previously archived idea.
This is a Feature Request regarding the “Your recent client searches” box on the Search page. I’ve talked with users who would like to either have none/hide this and other users who would like to see more clients in the list. Having an option at either the agency- or user-level to change the number of clients that appear in that Recent Searches box would be a very nice addition!

CoCs should be able to customize denial reasons
Our CoC had agreed upon a list of denial reasons. We have been using this list for years. When we switched to Clarity, we learned that we cannot customize the list of denial reasons. We also cannot delete any of the reasons. Since the denial reasons don't seem to be HUD mandated, and CoCs can decide what those reasons are, why can't we customize?

Add Foreign Countries to Geolocation
While geolocation was made available by way of the Outreach module, it could other valuable uses. Communities are experiencing crises related to migrant populations and the collection of geolocation data related to this can be very informative.

Data Validation Check for Program Enrollments Entered Before the Program Start Date
A client's enrollment date should not start before the program itself starts. The LSA treats these as errors, and we need to resolve them every year before submitting it. If Clarity stopped those errors from happening, it would save us a lot of time.

Data Analysis: Unpublish Custom Fields
When utilizing Looker/Data Analysis, custom Clarity fields can be published to Data Analysis and then never used or a field becomes retired with an older workflow/process.
Adding functionality to allow users to 'unpublish' fields from Data Analysis would allow analysts to remove unneeded fields from their field toolbars allowing for more streamlined field selection and improved overall model performance.
Unpublishing fields should be associated with an access role to ensure users that are unpublishing custom fields are not removing fields and breaking content with it.
Thank you for your time and consideration.

Option to make Referral Denial Information box required
We would like the option to make Referral Denial Information box required. We review the data and it would be helpful to always know more information to ensure the correct selection was made based on our shared definitions of the options.
