  1. Currently, the search field in Outreach lets you look clients up by UID only.

    This creates some inconvenience if outreach workers need to swap between Clarity and Outreach while out in the field to grab someone's UID. If they're swapping between Outreach and Clarity, it almost seems more appropriate to fill in location/CLS from within the Client Profile, reducing the usefulness of the Outreach module for real-time data collection.

    Also, encampments may have limited service in the area and going between both modules could be resource-intensive for workers' devices.

  2. We would like to be able to define "Program Related Activity" for auto-exits at the program level. The issue we are encountering is that we use a manual CE event as an administrative action for CE and this CE event, which is not indicative of program activity at our ES and SO projects, is preventing clients from appropriately auto-exiting from those ES and SO projects. We would like a way to not include these events while determining whether to auto-exit.

  3. When a user selects "add form" in the program Forms tab and then"upload form", and has not selected a form name, the file is uploaded with no title.

    This is causing reporting issues when tracking required program forms, and making it difficult to find specific uploaded documents in the Forms tab.

    We would like to please request that selecting a form template be required when uploading documents to forms.

  4. Please add a line for Client Doesn't Know/Client Prefers Not to Answer/Data Not Collected in the Sheltered Report age categories that coorespond with household category data entry into HDX.
    While the grand total of persons is at the bottom of the report, if someone refused a date of birth and there is not an approx date of birth in HMIS, that person is NOT counted in the household tallies and it makes data entry more difficult.

  5. In Career Services we often send out information on job openings and Career Fairs. Can you please add a function on the Career side of HMIS that allows for a mass email to be documented to the entire active caseload for this type of general correspondence as opposed to having to enter it over 100 times for each individual we are contacting.   6. Improve scoring functionality for multi-select fields in the assessment processor. Allow users to score based on number of fields, or specific fields being selected without having to create a new condition for each possible combination of selections.

  7. When adding a new SSVF program in HMIS and auto provision is toggled on at Setup, a list of SSVF services are added to the agency, in addition to the SSVF services that are already there. So now there are multiple SSVF services with only one program toggled on in each service, when the multiple programs can be toggled on in just one service.

  8. Clarity currently lets users update an enrollment's program start date to be later than the assigned unit start date. When a user then tries to exit the client from the program, they get a cryptic error message that is currently confusing to users. Users currently don't understand why they are unable to exit a client from the program by viewing this error message alone. Error message is as follows: "Please correct errors. Start Date should be greater than or equal to [program start date]."

  9. When using Dark Mode in the new Clarity UI, the scroll bar is very difficult to see. i know a lot of folks probably just use the mouse wheel, but it could be useful to ensure this UI element has a higher contrast for folks who prefer using that.

  10. The use case for this is coordinated entry programs. Currently, inactivity auto-exit functionality is limited, allowing the exit date only to fall on the last date of an eligible activity or the last bednight. These dates are designed to minimize overlaps in housing programs or shelters; however, this is not a concern when it comes to coordinated entry.

    Many communities have time limits placed on when someone becomes inactive, and is thus no longer prioritized for coordinated entry. A great option for coordinated entry projects would be an exit date option that allows one to set the exit date for…

  11. The Assessment Processors page under System Settings does not have an audit log. It is important to be able to track when Assessment Processors are added or removed from this page, so an audit log or some other tracking option would be helpful to track those changes.

  12. We regularly have programs that have a requirement for all of their clients to be entered into CES. We'd love to see a 'canned' report that can pull all clients enrolled in a program AND who are enrolled in (or not enrolled in) CES and who the assigned staff member is for their program.

    Example: Client is enrolled in SO program, report would pull client info, assigned staff info and have a 'yes' or 'no' indicating if the client has an active CES enrollment.

  13. Please add the remaining enrollment data fields to the Client Enrollment Details report. It does not include income, disability status, etc. Our users need this for auditing purposes as printing to pdf on the enrollment screen results in web links covering up the top lines of the page.

  15. Having a project type field on the UCT screen causes confusion because reports pull the project type of the program connected to INVENTORY. If the field on the UCT screen does not match the program's project type, this has been a source of data quality issues. When these DQ issues occur, this cannot be fixed by a sys admin.

  17. We receive a warning when there is a date gap between overflow inventory, but date gaps are to be expected due to the nature of that bed availability type. Therefore, the warning "There is a gap in the Bed & Unit Inventory dates for this program. Please update the Bed & Unit Inventory Start or End Dates as appropriate." shouldn't be applied when the gap is related to overflow inventory.

  18. The Learning Lab at Clarity Connect has been one of the most valued resources for attendees. Customers recognize the support of the Help Desk, but would love to have a regularly scheduled time of "Office Hours" to speak with the experts about data and reporting.

  19. Our CoC had agreed upon a list of denial reasons. We have been using this list for years. When we switched to Clarity, we learned that we cannot customize the list of denial reasons. We also cannot delete any of the reasons. Since the denial reasons don't seem to be HUD mandated, and CoCs can decide what those reasons are, why can't we customize?
