  1. When creating a service we'd love the ability to set services up so they can only be accessed/tracked/created in the HoH's program only. We have programs that we need to have users only track under the HoH. However, users sometimes forget and will track services under the second adult in the HH or under the children. This causes issues when we are running custom reports that are set to only pull information from the HoH and the services provided.

  2. Users might forget that they are logged into a training site. It would be helpful if there was a banner at the top of the interface to let them know that the site they are on is a training site.

  4. Hello! Hope everything is going well. Our staff migrated to Clarity from ETO, and one feature that ETO has that Clarity doesn't is the ability to organize the Assessment history (known as Touchpoints to their system). Instead of providing them all in one list, it sorts them by the Assessment type, making it easier to find the specific one you're trying to view, edit, or delete. This would be a great way to not only help existing Clarity users but also help Clarity compete with other databases for those who could be moved to our side.

  5. Inventory allows the flexibility to connect units to multiple programs under the same building. Many communities have configured Inventory this way and want to see unit information by program, not building. However, there isn't a program's agency field available.

    Adding a program's agency filter to the Inventory module would allow users to view the information by program. Additionally, having a field in Looker available for program agency will also aid in creating custom reports.

  6. Sharing set at a program level instead of an agency.
    Departments do not work like they should for programs like RHY. It would be better to have more flexibility on where visibility can be set.

  7. We're having an issue where certain housing navigators are not able to see or leave referral notes if they are not working under an agency that sent or is receiving the referral. Our community voted to set Service/Programs/Assessments/Events Placed as "basic shared," and because these are all grouped together, we can't open up sharing for referrals for certain access roles because the agency sharing settings override any access role permissions. A solution to this would be to include referral notes in Basic Shared, since leaving a note is not changing the status or behavior of the referral in any way.…

  8. It would be great if in the body messages, such as the referral notes, you could tag other users so they could be brought in to the conversation easily to discuss the client in a thread - or be able to have communications with more than one other user on a single thread.

  9. When you input the "Operating Start Date" the system checks for any "Project Start Dates" that occur before the selected date. If they exit, a message appears warning the user they have clients that were served before the selected Operating Start Date. This will also help resolve potential LSA Flag issues due to this conflict in data quality.

  10. The ability to toggle additional/all household members in an Attendance Module's scanned services would be incredibly helpful for agencies that provide daily, weekly, or monthly services for entire households; especially when only one or two members of the household are present but the service must be applied to everyone.

  11. After a referral to a unit is made from the community queue, a provider enrolls a client to the corresponding program and the client is automatically added to the unit in the referral, both with the current date. However, for Permanent Housing projects, when a Housing Move-In Date is entered, the user has to then manually update the unit start date to reflect the true first night that the client moved into and slept in the unit. Functionality that would allow the Unit Start Date to update based on the Housing Move-In Date entered would help improve this workflow.

  12. There are currently 2 fields in Clarity that collect information regarding a client's citizenship status (citizenstatus & uscitizen). However, neither of these fields are available for us to pull into Looker to build reports off of. We would like to have these 2 fields added so that we can pull a client's citizenship information.

  13. Our CoC creates partnership agencies, which allow workers from multiple organizations to access their collaborative projects. We want all new client profiles and ROIs to be created under the primary program agencies.

    Please create an option to block users from being able to upload ROIs if they are logged into specific agencies.

  14. Before saving a Start Date or End Date, validate the date is a valid calendar date. This could also check for dates recorded prior to 1/1/1915 as noted in HMIS Reporting Glossary. This could also check for dates in the future and give a warning message when the user saves that it is a date in the future to confirm accuracy. This could apply to both enrollments and services.

  15. Customers have asked for the ability to update the status of multiple units at one time (update in a batch). For example, a building and units were set up to prepare for a new building to come online. Units were set to inactive so they would show on the dashboard until the agency was ready to begin leasing up the new building. When the agency is ready to begin lease-up, they need to change hundreds of units to active.

  16. Clarity doesn't allow the back button on your browser to be used to instantly jump back to the previous page without a form re-submission. It would be great if there was a bar at the top of the page that showed 3 or 4 of the previous pages you were on, that way you could click on one to instantly return to that page.

  17. Please allow downloading or exporting file links. Even though Clarity generates a link that is accessible through a context menu in the Data Table, the URL of the link is not an exportable or reportable value in Looker. My agency is developing an app that would allow navigating to files and audit those files in a more centrallized and faster manner, and the file links are a key feature of this application.

  19. It would be useful to have the following updated and pushed to "Data Analysis" section in the Help Center of the Bitfocus website, every time Looker or SQL Access has been updated:

    • A "Clarity to Looker Data Dictionary" showing all the fields available in all of the Looker models
    • A diagram of how the tables relate in Looker
    • SQL Access fields list showing all the fields available
    • A diagram of how the tables relate in SQL Access

    It would also be helpful to include field descriptions, HMIS metadata, table name, and name.

  20. Since the housing move-in date is on the enrollments page instead of the status update assessment, users will often leave the housing move-in date blank or are left confused since they frequently don't have that information when they initially enroll clients into a program. This can cause data errors. Could the housing move-in date be added as an option to status update assessments?
