A report that shows you all households that were housed through CE and if/when they returned to homelessness based on a program entry (emergency shelter) and/or prior living situation (homeless situations). Does not include Day Services and/or Street Outreach enrollments after the housed exit date, unless the Prior Living Situation indicates homeless situation.

  3. Currently, Opening IDs with referral connections can only be viewed in Looker's CE Model for referral status's that are Pending or Pending - In Process. Retaining historical opening id information for all referral status types (completed, denied, etc.) would allow for trend analysis on the length of time between when a unit is posted and the date a client is referred to the unit.

  4. When returning a client to the HQ, users are able to edit the referral date, but there isn't any information on when the client was originally referred to the queue. This would be a helpful setting based on CoC policy - when client is referred back to queue, keep original refer to queue date.

  5. The help center, help.bitfocus.com, has a button/link at the very bottom of each page where you can request that the article be updated. It is hard to find and does not stand out. Is there a way to make it more visible?

Currently, communities can add certain custom fields to Program Availability to track details on program openings, however, the ability to customize the availability form is limited (e.g. no dynamic screen options, limited field types, inability to edit default fields). In its current state, communities may choose to use 3rd party form solutions outside of Clarity to track program openings or use workarounds to structure the availability form to capture local information (e.g. using a field as a label).

    The Availability Form could be improved by providing screen functionality, offering all field types, and allowing for the editing of default fields…

  7. When you create a new funding source, the picklist currently has options for HUD: COC - Homeless Preventions, HUD: COC - Supportive Services Only, HUD: ESG - Street Outreach, etc. etc. etc., then lets you put in the fund start date, Grant ID, Grant start date, amount.

    Make it so that the "Funding Source" picklist only shows the base type of funding, such as, "HUD: COC", "HUD: ESG", "VA: VASH", etc. removing the subtype of funding, the "- Supportive Services Only", "- Rapid Re-Housing", etc. part of the funding source.

  8. Need an option to duplicate a particular user's User Profile, including additional agencies. Click on a "Duplicate" button on a user's profile and it would create the exact settings including access role and additional agencies, leave personal info blank. When selecting additional agencies, allow either a dropdown menu with selection boxes or a search option, rather than the current very time-consuming method of scrolling through hundreds of agencies for each and every add.

  10. Disable the ability to scroll on a number field to increment/decrement the number value. We have found on our encampment screens that users are scrolling down on the setup screen to get to the bottom to save, but are inadvertently changing the values in our custom fields resulting in negative client counts. Even though we've added a WARNING that pops up if a negative number is entered, it does not prevent the client from saving the invalid value.

    I wanted to bring up a potential enhancement for HMIS reporting that could improve the accuracy and efficiency of service data tracking. During a recent review of our reporting processes, we identified a need for clearer aggregate totals in the Service Summary and Service Census reports to reduce manual calculations and improve data usability.

    Here are two possible enhancements that could benefit many HMIS users:

  13. A client's enrollment date should not start before the program itself starts. The LSA treats these as errors, and we need to resolve them every year before submitting it. If Clarity stopped those errors from happening, it would save us a lot of time.

Users have frequently expressed the desire to have a small box on the profile page where they could put some basic notes - information that doesn't warrant a public alert, but should still be up front and visible rather than hidden in the Notes tab; e.g. how to pronounce a client's name. The box could sit right below the Unique Identifier and profile picture

We continue to get requests from providers who have staff that have CE assessment privileges and wanting to know how many people each staff are enrolling into CE, how many are completing assessments, and how many of those are being added to the community queue. The canned report available in Clarity does not work.

    Another report similar to this is for the programs to see how many people currently active in their projects are also enrolled, assessed, and on the CE community queue.

According to Help Desk, the file uploader has a unique ID and so when the same screen is up and I try to upload a second file it treats it like I am modifying my earlier upload rather than uploading a separate file. At present, I have to leave the screen every time I need to upload a second document when i should be able to upload as many as necessary without having to leave the screen and then return.

  17. When utilizing Looker/Data Analysis, custom Clarity fields can be published to Data Analysis and then never used or a field becomes retired with an older workflow/process.

    Adding functionality to allow users to 'unpublish' fields from Data Analysis would allow analysts to remove unneeded fields from their field toolbars allowing for more streamlined field selection and improved overall model performance.

    Unpublishing fields should be associated with an access role to ensure users that are unpublishing custom fields are not removing fields and breaking content with it.

It would be helpful if we had the ability to link notes that have been entered from the agency-level "Notes" tab to a program enrollment (ex: there would be a "Link from Notes" button within the enrollment's "Notes" tab similar to the "Link from History", "Link from Assessments", and "Link from Files" functions).

    For certain reports we pull in the last note entered into a client's program enrollment; if an end user accidentally enters notes into the agency-level Notes tab, those notes won't pull into the report. To fix the issue, they have to delete any notes they entered at…

As a Care Coordinator for Urban Alchemy, it would be beneficial for there to be a search option when looking for a specific room/unit in the Inventory, instead of having to scroll through an entire roster of rooms/units to find the one I'm looking for. Sometimes the information is needed quickly and the current way of using the Inventory doesn't allow for a quick search. Priority: Level 1

  20. This is from a previously archived idea.

    This is a Feature Request regarding the “Your recent client searches” box on the Search page. I’ve talked with users who would like to either have none/hide this and other users who would like to see more clients in the list. Having an option at either the agency- or user-level to change the number of clients that appear in that Recent Searches box would be a very nice addition!
