  1. Objective: Only show relevant fields on report.

    1. If the field is hidden on the screen, then hide the field in the report.

    Reason: With the addition of the hide function on the screens, there might be fields that may not make sense to the end user and will display on the report.
    Outcome: Any field that is hidden on the screen will not show up on the report.

    1. If data is not applicable, then show "Not Applicable."

    Reason: There are fields that are not applicable to all project types and may not appear on the the screens. Also, the cascading…

  2. I would like the different report categories to be listed alphabetically by report name rather than by the code that Bitfocus (or Clarity) assigns the report. It is frustrating to scroll through some of the longer categories (like Administrator Reports) trying to find the title of the report that you want to run. I am constantly missing my titles (probably because I'm scrolling faster than I can read), but if it was alphabetical, I wouldn't have any problem at all.

  3. For "Enterprise" users, we can choose exactly what permissions our users have for each tab in the client profile and enrollment pages. For the Agency Manager's "Manage" module, you get it all with no limits. Two examples: 1) We would like to be able to assign an Agency Manager that is not allowed to edit programs. 2) We would like an Agency Manager that can add/edit Services and add/edit Accounts, but nothing else.

  4. Our implementation has multiple CoC's and sometimes we want to pull an APR for more than one CoC but we cannot. It would be helpful to be able to pull reports as System Administrator across the system to include any/all agencies and projects no matter what CoC they are in.

  6. While it is possible to require completion of individual fields on Assessments, users can still skip an entire Assessment that might contain important fields, like Current Living Situation.

    it would be great to have a way to require completion of an Assessment within a data collection workflow.

  7. The current "Disable Inactive Users" function only applies to when the users have logged in at least one time. Our request is to allow the same functionality for newly created account so that users than never use their account can will be auto-disabled.

  8. When editing a program and working with the program options in the the right column, (such as bed list or funding), once one of those options is selected you are unable to tell which program you are editing data for. It would be nice if the program title could carry into the screen you are working in within program admin.

  9. There was a feature request by our users for filtering the outreach module map by client demographics such as age, veteran status, disabling condition. Many of our teams that are piloting the usage of the Module are using it for targeted encampment efforts - some of the users are partnering with population-specific providers to connect them and said it may be useful to be able to, at a glance, find veterans and youth who they’ve connected with on the map.

  10. Allow custom fields to be imported in CSV format using the DIT.

    The HUD CSV spec has a file, Custom.csv, for custom fields. That allows the two organizations to collaborate and create rules for importing custom fields. Right now, Bitfocus only allows XML to import custom fields. For us, it would be easier to import our data in CSV format.

  11. It would be very, very helpful to be able to see the HUD destination at program exit in the program history screen. As of now, we have to click into the program and click over to the exit screen to see this.

  14. Ability to track additional custom data elements per reservation that is specific to the client. This is meant to record additional information such as client’s medication needs, doctor appointments, temperature, contact information, etc). This is meant to be a quick way to keep track of client’s needs that are specific to their slot.

  15. Allow for the ability to mass-check-in clients. Similar to card reader functionality, we want the ability for a staff person to check in a large number of clients without having to click on the slots one by one and marking them as present. Ideally this would be some sort of check box on each slot with a select all option and then marking the attendance for those selected.

  17. We are looking forward to be able to have report build in, or shared with us to have analysis on HMIS clarity Data Base frequency accessed and used.

    • What features / pages are users accessing the most? What features / pages are users accessing the least?

    • What are the most commonly-accessed and least commonly-accessed Assessments, Programs, and Services?

    • (I know you mentioned we probably can’t get this data, but I’ll include it here anyway as it is often data that web applications store) What platform is the user accessing HMIS using?

    o Mobile?
     Operating system?
     What browser?

For any CoC migrating data, adding additional timeframes for cascading data thresholds would be extremely helpful when migrated client data gets associated with the incorrect program (or in our case, also incorrect agency). If the cascading data thresholds were expanded beyond 1 year (365 days), then clients with older enrollment and assessment dates could be easily transferred to the correct agency/program through direct referral, cascading data procedures.

  19. We use passwords to allow access to some screens.

    Using the userID as live marker will allow us to create constraints that will allow users to access the screen.
