  1. Functionality is limited when communities want to use Clarity to track staff hours. If a staff doesn't have an activity that is directly tied to a specific client there is no way to record it. For example, if a staff member is called out to an encampment for clean up but doesn't provide any direct service to a client. Or if there's a mobile shower unit that distributes hygiene products but doesn't have enough time with clients to get any information about individual clients.   3. The help center, help.bitfocus.com, has a button/link at the very bottom of each page where you can request that the article be updated. It is hard to find and does not stand out. Is there a way to make it more visible?

  4. When configuring for Managers/Admin, the 'Additional Agency Access' only allows to add one agency at a time- for CoC's that have a lot of agencies, it can be tedious.

  5. Need an option to duplicate a particular user's User Profile, including additional agencies. Click on a "Duplicate" button on a user's profile and it would create the exact settings including access role and additional agencies, leave personal info blank. When selecting additional agencies, allow either a dropdown menu with selection boxes or a search option, rather than the current very time-consuming method of scrolling through hundreds of agencies for each and every add.

  6. We would like to be able to set a maximum ROI term in addition to a default ROI term. Our community's release expires 3 years from the date of the signature unless a previous date is specified, however, it is possible to override the date to extend it to any number of years beyond the default.

  7. Disable the ability to scroll on a number field to increment/decrement the number value. We have found on our encampment screens that users are scrolling down on the setup screen to get to the bottom to save, but are inadvertently changing the values in our custom fields resulting in negative client counts. Even though we've added a WARNING that pops up if a negative number is entered, it does not prevent the client from saving the invalid value.

    I wanted to bring up a potential enhancement for HMIS reporting that could improve the accuracy and efficiency of service data tracking. During a recent review of our reporting processes, we identified a need for clearer aggregate totals in the Service Summary and Service Census reports to reduce manual calculations and improve data usability.

    Here are two possible enhancements that could benefit many HMIS users:

Users have frequently expressed the desire to have a small box on the profile page where they could put some basic notes - information that doesn't warrant a public alert, but should still be up front and visible rather than hidden in the Notes tab; e.g. how to pronounce a client's name. The box could sit right below the Unique Identifier and profile picture

  11. live marker: age at "program date" (InformationDate)

    Description: Calculate the client's age at program date.

    Issue: Users sometimes backdate/future date/update records which causes some age specific fields to show up due to using the current age live marker, the client's age at program date may not be the same as the current age.

    Outcome: Any field using this live marker as a constraint will use the age at program date and will also align HUD age specific fields.

  12. Name, DOB, or SSN, or any ‘Quality of …’ fields on the Profile screens are not available to be display constraints for other fields on on the profile but a customer would like to be able use them as constraints.

  13. Because of the LSA, we found out we had closed out programs that still had inventories open. Please make it so that the system ends everything with an open date with the same ending date as the program end date. There's no reason to have open bed inventory when the program ends.

  14. When we do an assessment with a client and it is a "family tye" assessment that asks about the family, we would like for that information to be automatically filled in. For example, if the assessment asks how many children are in the household, it should fill in based on how the household is built in HMIS. If it asks for name and age, it should be able to pull that from the childrens profile screens.

We continue to get requests from providers who have staff that have CE assessment privileges and wanting to know how many people each staff are enrolling into CE, how many are completing assessments, and how many of those are being added to the community queue. The canned report available in Clarity does not work.

    Another report similar to this is for the programs to see how many people currently active in their projects are also enrolled, assessed, and on the CE community queue.

  17. It would be very helpful if we had the ability to make an Additional Agency Access 'inactive' as we require Annual recertifications for things like Coordinated Entry - which is set up as Additional Agency Access.
    Currently we have to remove access completely and then re-assign access, and that is very time consuming.

  18. I send out job leads and notifications to my active caseload in CareerLink. This is about hiring events, career fairs, or community events. I was hoping I could have a way to add this note to everyone active on my caseload as I do this a few times a week. Now I have to input them when I touch a file. I was seeking a prompt to allow me to add a general case note reflecting this type of action to all active cases in one entry.

  20. The field (clientcontacts.email) is only available to be used in the Client Contacts tab. Unfortunately it's the only field that provides a data quality component around email addresses. If you enter text that doesn't include the @symbol, it won't let you save, and an error pops up saying "Please include an @ in the email address". In addition, under the field you see in red "Email is not a valid email address." If you add an email address to any other screen or assessment you cannot embed the requirement for an @ symbol. It would help to have this
