  1. There are currently 2 fields in Clarity that collect information regarding a client's citizenship status (citizenstatus & uscitizen). However, neither of these fields are available for us to pull into Looker to build reports off of. We would like to have these 2 fields added so that we can pull a client's citizenship information.

  2. Clarity doesn't allow the back button on your browser to be used to instantly jump back to the previous page without a form re-submission. It would be great if there was a bar at the top of the page that showed 3 or 4 of the previous pages you were on, that way you could click on one to instantly return to that page.

    For example, if you had been on Client Test 1's Enrollment page, then were on the Agency Overview search page within the launchpad, then were on the Reports section within the launchpad, the top of your…

  3. Please allow downloading or exporting file links. Even though Clarity generates a link that is accessible through a context menu in the Data Table, the URL of the link is not an exportable or reportable value in Looker. My agency is developing an app that would allow navigating to files and audit those files in a more centrallized and faster manner, and the file links are a key feature of this application.

  4. Since the housing move-in date is on the enrollments page instead of the status update assessment, users will often leave the housing move-in date blank or are left confused since they frequently don't have that information when they initially enroll clients into a program. This can cause data errors. Could the housing move-in date be added as an option to status update assessments?

  5. Users will often enroll the incorrect family member as Head of Household then submit a request asking for help when they cannot move the status and enrollment data to the correct family member, leading to a tedious process to fix. This happens most frequently on VA program enrollments.

  7. Can we develop an API that allows pulling data directly and in real-time from Clarity? My agency is developing an internal Python app that generates customized dashboards and reports (for which the Clarity platform itself does not provide enough flexibility). However, in the long run the app cannot rely on downloading Excel files from Clarity every time we run. With a customizable API, we can transform the SQL query from the Data Analysis client model reports to a query for the app, which would allow fewer steps for data management.

  8. It would be very helpful to include the a client details list when running the PIT and HIC report. If I download the reports as an Excel file, I don't get any client data. If I run as a web page, I can click and see the clients, but have to go through 30+ agencies and many projects in order to copy the client IDs and enrollments into a spreadsheet in order to obtain a complete list. It would also be helpful to instances where clients might be dually enrolled on the night of the PIT.

  9. when adding a new user, please specify the error when the username is being used by another. i.e. it's being used by another agency or it's inactive and indicate which agency. Currently, the field username gets a red underline but we have no idea what's wrong with it.

  10. Communities want staff to be able to access units and update units' status from the Inventory module (dashboard) without having to change agency access. They feel that if staff have system-level to the module and edit unit status permissions, they should be able to update the status for the units they have access to.

    Communities may have buildings where the agency that provides services changes over time. In these scenarios, they may set up all buildings under one agency to streamline their setup. In that case, the user's home agency may differ from the agency where the building is setup.…

  11. This is a super small suggestion, specifically to change how the pager numbers are styled. As of right now the "li" item has styling code of

    .pager-container .pagination li {
    float: left;
    width: 15px;
    padding-right: 8px;
    }

    and then the actual link ("a href" has no padding or width. This makes it really hard to click the page number. My proposed fix would be this:

    .pager-container .pagination li {
    float: left;
    min-width: 23px;
    text-align: center;
    }

    and the "a" value would be something like:

    .pager-container .pagination li a {
    padding: 7px;
    }

    This way the clickable area of the link…

  12. We would like to propose the idea of being able to disable the trusted device option for certain/individual users. We have had an incident with username/password sharing and would like to have a way to better secure the account(s) for those who are not in compliance with policies.

  13. It is cumbersome to enter the same parameters over and over when you want to pull a report. It would be nice to have it save somehow. Either:
    1. Save the entire report within the system
    2. A way to save to your computer with client I.D. list still accessible
    3. Save report parameters as "preset" options like saving your favorite radio stations on your car.

  14. I have a suggestion for the "Household Management" screen. When you go into a clients profile and click "Manage" above the household list it opens up the "Household Management" screen which shows a list of previous members. It would be handy to have the HMIS numbers next to the list of names of previous members.
    For example the attached, I am wanting to open up the previous household members profile "michael Williams". Usually I search the name in the search bar and can find them. In the example attached, if I search "Michael Williams" it brings up a list of…

  15. Allow raw custom field codes to be visible in looker, and control this through a toggle on the custom fields screen in Looker called "Show raw field in looker". If the toggle is activated, the raw field for the custom dimension will be shown in the looker custom dimensions view.

  16. If you select "no" permission for an ROI, it doesn't allow you to upload documentation. It would be just as beneficial to be able to add documentation of the client saying "no" as it is for "yes". We have to upload into client files, and it would be cleaner to be able to upload right there on the ROI page.

  17. According to Data Dictionary if 8, 9, or 99 is recorded for "Race & Ethnicity" then you can't include any other picklist value with it. Since imports come from other systems that allow for this "bad" Data Entry, I checked with HUD and they are ok with us "cleaning up" this data quality issue before importing the data into Clarity. So I propose adding this to the data quality checks/fixes for the Clarity DIT tool.

  18. Clarity doesn't have any field created that will generate the Responsible Staff (connected to the program) in Looker and they do not have a canned report that will generate the information. It would be really helpful to be able to pull a list of all programs and their responsible staff members is some way / shape / or form.

  19. Often a case manager's workflow requires navigating to several screens to capture all required data (client profile, program enrollment, assessment, contact, location, etc). It would be helpful if a workflow prompt could be added at the bottom of each screen with a link to the next required screen for a particular program workflow.

  20. When a new agency is created, it is automatically created as an "Active" agency. When communities are transitioning Clarity, they may be at their active agency limit, but need to create an inactive agency to receive historical data from their legacy HMIS. This action will currently trigger automatic billing for the agency license, even though it will be inactive and should not be billed.

    Admins should be able to indicate whether an agency is Active or Inactive at the time the agency is created.

    For the same reason, it may be good to also allow admins to select the type…
