Improve Staff Hour Tracking Functionality
Functionality is limited when communities want to use Clarity to track staff hours. If a staff doesn't have an activity that is directly tied to a specific client there is no way to record it. For example, if a staff member is called out to an encampment for clean up but doesn't provide any direct service to a client. Or if there's a mobile shower unit that distributes hygiene products but doesn't have enough time with clients to get any information about individual clients. Or if a shift change occurred at a shelter and staff A is responsible during the mornings but staff B is responsible in the evenings. These types of events and changes would not be recorded in HMIS but might take up staff time and use CoC funding. Scoping out how to better record staff focused activities/time would help many of our customers, particularly those focused on case management.
