Eliminate the need to hover over items to see functionality
The need to hover over some items across the whole site make it difficult for users to see all the functionality available. One example is in Data Analysis when I want to edit a dashboard. You can see the elipsis near the filters to choose to edit, but, you have to hover over the top of the visualization to see the elipses. This is not intuitive and is not user-friendly.

font color/high contrast colors
Site wide, it would be really helpful if the fonts are in black and the color schemes are high-contrast. It is very hard to easily see a lot of items on the screens.

Customize user screens
Similar to the way that System Administrators can add custom fields to a Program Set-up screen, it would be helpful to be able to add custom fields to other screen types, especially the user profile screens. This would allow tracking of things like date of training completion, or notes about a user like reasons for locking/inactivating an account, tracking security breaches, or marking roles like who is an agency administrator for billing new user accounts.

Access to Look/Dashboard/Schedule metadata
It would be beneficial for System Administrators to have access to metadata for Looks/Dashboards/Schedules to better maintain reports and monitor system usage.

[Looker] More Folder Options in Looker
Request for some additional functionality in embedded Looker:
- Allow access to sub-sub folders in the main reports folder
- Change interface to an actual folder structure (collapse folders by default, allow expanding) instead of just displaying folder names as headers
- Allow access to sub folders in agency reports folders
- Allow users to view look descriptions and dashboard descriptions in embedded Looker. Right now I think they are available in standalone, but only in standalone."

Allow end users to download and print form pages
For agencies who are trying to save time, it would be very beneficial to have a download/print function within Clarity, tied to the enrollment form. Some agencies can enter directly into HMIS, and do not need a paper copy, but there are many agencies who are required to store paper forms. They have to do their enrollments on paper forms, then enter into HMIS. If you could print the form, it would save them a lot of time. Currently, when you print an enrollment form using the basic web browser function, it does not retain the responses to checkboxes, such…

Automatically remove clients from outreach map based on address type.
We have the ability have clients automatically populate the outreach map based on location types identified. Users expressed the desire to have clients automatically removed from the outreach map based on location types identified as well.

Reminder when creating new Funding Source Non Federal sources
Could there be some sort of tool tip or reminder on the Add Program screen that reminds us to go to the Field Editor to create the new funding source name? Or even better, allow us to add straight from the screen. Too many steps are involved when it comes to setting up new funding sources.

Report: Which clients don't have release of information (ROI) on file and/or who have ROI renewals coming up.
With the requirement to upload ROIs for every client, it would be extremely helpful to be able to run a report and see which clients in a given program are due for a renewal or need an initial ROI uploaded. Checking each client individually is a huge waste of staff time when you have thousands of people to check.

Improve Assessments Features within Program Enrollments in Clarity
Clarity is not currently meeting our CoC’s need to easily understand what’s due with Assessments and add as needed. There are several points of feedback we have about the Assessments tab within a Program Enrollment, to make it clearer for our end users. This is made more important by the Current Living Situation assessment now being required.
Current issues for our end users are:
· Current heading is “Status Assessments” which to them = Status Update Assessment
· “Assessment Due” is unclear- what kind of Assessment is due? Annual, Status Update, Current Living Situation? No way to click through. If…

On the Referrals: Denied Tab, update tooltip for the icon that indicates a Referral was SENT back to Community Queue
In the Referrals Denied tab, if a Referral was sent back to the Community Queue, there is a gray band of color and there is an icon to the far right of the client name (a box with an arrow in it). For the icon, there is a tooltip that pops up with "SEND back to Queue." (all caps mine)
This can be confusing for End Users who may see this as an action icon with the function or opportunity to "send" the Referral back to the Queue.
Changing the tooltip to read "sent" would be an immediately clear way…

Flag/Alert to users for overlapping enrollments of the same program type.
Our user had a great idea to create a flag/alert for users who are about to enter a client into a similar program
For example: Emergency Shelters often have "Overlapping Enrollments" with other Agencies who have ES programs that clients may still remain active after they have left. ES program staff are asking for a flag/alert that may pop up if they are entering a client into a the same program type where the client may still be active in another program of the same type.

Updates to the HMIS Population Over Time model
We would like to see updates to the HMIS Population Over Time model
It would be useful to have more data elements including:
a. Household Type
b. Relationship to Head of Household
c. Project Start/Exit Month/Year just like setup in HMIS Performance and Client Model.
d. Reporting Period Start/End Date
e. Referrals
Etc.
- It is currently difficult to perform population-based measure without additional data elements in this model. Using a Merge Query doesn't work for visualizations requiring pivot. For example
a. How to get Households served by different project types over time pivoted by Household Type?
b. In a quarter…

Full smartphone compatibility
While Outreach itself is mobile-friendly, the rest of Clarity is less so, leaving outreach workers with a mixed Clarity experience when collecting client data.
This includes client search, assessments, program enrollments, services, current living situation, etc.

Show Public Alert Indicators for all SEARCH Function results
The addition of the "Public Alert" indicator for associated entries found in the Search results for our Day Shelter Attendance was a great first step. These indicators often serve as a safety warning to our staff. As such, it needs to be added to the results shown in the main SEARCH FUNCTION. It would really be helpful if these indicators appear at every level of SEARCH provided in all ATTENDANCE functions.

Alert pop up for Attendance module
When scanning in or adding clients in the Attendance module, have an actual pop up appear for those who have a public alert.
Currently, an icon will appear next to the client's name and then you must hover over the client name and then click on the public alert to see it.
This causes delays for shelters that need to check in a large number of clients.
An immediate pop up would ensure that End Users have the ability to both quickly check many people in AND catch important public alerts.

Zip Code Report using Client Location Zip code
I’m wondering if Bitfocus would consider offering a Clarity report that is based on the zip code(s) found on the Location tab?
Currently [JRSD-103] uses the Zip Code of Last Permanent Address field… which really is only used by VA programs. I believe this report was created some time ago… before the Location tab feature was implemented.
It would be nice to have parameters include the Address Type and Programs parameters.
Not requesting a custom report… just think this would be something universally useful.

Looker Save Access Role
Users assigned to Access Roles that have the Data Analysis Save role activated are able to update and save any looks that are available to their agency. This includes looks or dashboards that were created by the System Administrators and released to all users in the instance. We have had several instances when we release a report that is meant to be used by users at any agency, but when we review the report later fields have been added or removed, or filters have been changed.
We would like to be able to distinguish what reports users with this access…

Edit and Delete buttons too close
Idea from Riverside County customer: For many fields or screens in Clarity there are Edit (square box) and Delete (trash can) "buttons" that are very close together. This is typically not a problem when using a mouse, but when using a mobile device or laptop with touch pad, it can be very tricky to select one without accidentally selecting the other. If/when the UI is updated, please keep this in mind and make them farther apart or somehow easier to select.
