LookML is a language for describing dimensions, aggregates, calculations, and data relationships in a SQL database. Looker uses a model written in LookML to construct SQL queries against a particular database.

This would be extremely helpful for keeping more complex analysis within Looker, adding to data security and allowing for more flexible access to important information across users.
Please consider situations where multiple CoCs may be using the same instance of your product to ensure all Looker users can benefit form this.

Critical for custom BNL list. Also please consider Instances that need CoC only specific data.

We plan to investigate Looker’s ability to support customers writing their own LookML. We understand this feature would help create flexible and maintainable reports.
However, there are multiple concerns regarding security and performance. We must thoroughly investigate before committing to this feature. Before starting proper investigation, we are focusing on improving Looker’s overall performance.
