  1. For improved CE reporting, it would be helpful to have a way to breakdown the reasons a client has been temporarily removed from the queue to Snoozed. Options could include In Transitional Housing, Incarcerated, Hospitalized, In Substance Abuse Treatment program.

  2. We know that Current Living Situation needs to be entered anytime there is contact with a client, or at least every 90 days as community-defined, in our Street Outreach and Coordinated Entry programs.

Our Call Center enrolls Coordinated Entry clients; most homeless clients are simultaneously enrolled in Street Outreach. Street Outreach then continues to work with these clients – and it seems would need to enter Current Living Situation updates in both the Street Outreach and Coordinated Entry enrollments, which is redundant.

Can you add a feature in Clarity to cascade CLS updates?

  3. Clarity currently has the functionality to display a message in the Client Profile when contact information is missing for a client with an active Community Queue or pending program referral. I would like to be able to have the message display if contact information is missing regardless of whether or not there is an active referral.

  4. Our new "add funding source" popup window has 17 pages. Most of them are inactive and / or ended. We need a way to limit the choices. If the funding source has an end date in the past, you are not using it. If the funding source is inactive, you are not using it.

We add 15+ funding sources each year for ONE program. There are other programs that also have new contracts each year. Next year we will be up to 20 pages!

Please provide a method to restrict the funding sources on the "program add funding source popup…

  5. In order for program eligibility to appear on a community queue, the program's Public Listing must be set to "Public." However, this means that users with the ability to refer will also see these programs listed on the eligibility page after assessing a client, and they can freely refer them to these programs instead of just a community queue, which is not desired by (most) communities.

Turning off the "Create referral" access right means that they then can't refer to the community queue at all. There is a separate access right to "Refer Directly to Community Queue," so a similar…

  6. The System Administrator should have the option to update the background color of the Warning Message section from light grey to a darker color (such as marron, navy, or emerald). This update will benefit the users who are visually impaired.

  7. Standardize system logic for "deceased." Outreach module already indicates if the participants is housed/deceased (https://get.clarityhs.help/hc/en-us/articles/1500003859462-Clarity-Human-Services-April-2021-Feature-Updates) this should be standardized across the system. And should include warnings when a deceased participant is being enrolled with a start date of the deceased date.

  10. In a similar way to the current functionality that reminds users to do an annual assessment, it would be nice to have user reminders to do a CLS (current living situation) assessment on a CoC-determined schedule (in 30, 60, 90 days, etc)

  11. Services and Referrals that are on the templates the are already in the system should pull over into a copy of the template. This will ensure that all the correct Services and Referrals are on the template copy. Having to recreate these services and referrals take time away from the other work we already need to be doing.

  12. I would like to propose a CLS notification for Street Outreach & ES projects every 90 days, to ensure that clients are not dormant in the system and they are tracked accurately to reflect their updated housing condition.

  13. Many users in our CoC would like to be able to run a report of the active clients in their projects, particularly Street Outreach or Emergency Shelter, and see the status of these clients in the Coordinated Entry System. The issue right now is that the CES data is owned by another agency, so sharing settings do not allow users to pull both their agency's data and the CES data. This report would be helpful for agencies to know which clients in their projects need to be assessed for the Coordinated Entry System. It would also allow them to support…

  15. Similar to the functionality under launchpad>merge where a program enrollment can be moved, generate functionality to move assessments/services/notes etc that are incorrectly entered under one client record to a different client record. Currently when end user enter this information incorrectly under one client, we must delete the record and advise the end user to re-enter the information into the appropriate client record. This functionality could save case managers time from having to re-enter data.

  16. As a larger agency we have many contracts that are not managed by any CoC and require programs for us to record our work. Many delays occur with setup and particular needs of those necessary programs. We wish to record data into Clarity in order to provide a robust picture of available services in the county as well as to show impact in regional data analysis that happens when it comes to system performance.

It would be great if agencies could have a designated Agency Administrator that would have access to:
    -Create programs
    -Create funding codes (if needed)
    -Create custom…

  17. I've noticed the imagery available in the Outreach module appears to be older than what’s available on Google Maps, making it more difficult to pinpoint where encampments are based on foliage and landmarks.

Another idea that would help in similar cases is allowing encampment locations to be entered manually as lon/lat coordinates. It could use that location as a node from which the shape of the encampment could be drawn.

  18. Update the 'Exit' to say 'Program Exit' to make it more clear. Right now it looks like it was an after thought and it is just to xxit the file.

  19. Personal ID (as opposed to Unique ID) is included in the data extracts for Federal HMIS Partner submissions. Errors in those submissions will identify offending records by Personal ID, however, there's no easy way to search for a record.

Allowing search by Personal ID would be a huge help to the users who are troubleshooting the Federal HMIS Partner uploads.

  20. Currently, multi-select fields are only available to be set up by BitFocus. Instead, system admins need to use multiple checkbox fields for each option. Typically, select-all-that-apply questions have many, many choices (even when those questions are designed well and thoughtfully). This quickly eats into custom field limits and custom field publishing to data analysis (both of which are very bad design elements themselves). Please improve this.
