Backdate enrollment date to household members
When backdating a program enrollment for a household, the enrollment start date is set on the head of household, but then when each members enrollment page pulls up for household data entry, the date goes back to today's date. It would be helpful if the back dated date entered on the HOH would carry through to the household members connected to the enrollment.

Staff Report with Case Load upon Staff Deactivation
When staff are manually deactivated, it would be great if the system automatically generated a report with the staff person's client list. You cannot run the canned report for the client list if the staff is deactivated. And sometimes clients are not re-assigned after staff turnover.

Allow modifying of units/unit configuration while a family occupies it to prevent circumstantial issues
Hello! I ran into an issue where I needed to add a newborn family member to the housing inventory for compliance reasons, but I could not add a bed to the unit without changing the unit configuration, and could not change the unit configuration while someone was occupying the space. It would be great if we could add members of the same family all at once (and retroactively in this case), or just allow us to change unit configurations with fewer restrictions.
More broadly, just being able to add multiple family members to the same unit without having to do…

Align Housing Move-In Date to Unit Start Date Automatically
After a referral to a unit is made from the community queue, a provider enrolls a client to the corresponding program and the client is automatically added to the unit in the referral, both with the current date. However, for Permanent Housing projects, when a Housing Move-In Date is entered, the user has to then manually update the unit start date to reflect the true first night that the client moved into and slept in the unit. Functionality that would allow the Unit Start Date to update based on the Housing Move-In Date entered would help improve this workflow.

Add a Program's Agency filter to the Inventory Module
Inventory allows the flexibility to connect units to multiple programs under the same building. Many communities have configured Inventory this way and want to see unit information by program, not building. However, there isn't a program's agency field available.
Adding a program's agency filter to the Inventory module would allow users to view the information by program. Additionally, having a field in Looker available for program agency will also aid in creating custom reports.

Add Housing Move-In Date Option to Status Update Assessments
Since the housing move-in date is on the enrollments page instead of the status update assessment, users will often leave the housing move-in date blank or are left confused since they frequently don't have that information when they initially enroll clients into a program. This can cause data errors. Could the housing move-in date be added as an option to status update assessments?

Start Date and End Date Validation
Before saving a Start Date or End Date, validate the date is a valid calendar date. This could also check for dates recorded prior to 1/1/1915 as noted in HMIS Reporting Glossary. This could also check for dates in the future and give a warning message when the user saves that it is a date in the future to confirm accuracy. This could apply to both enrollments and services.

Allow users to use webcam or camera to take a picture of Client ID's or SS card to upload to the Files tab in HMIS
Our agencies like it when the clients ID or SS card is uploaded to HMIS. However, this sometimes can be a pain when they do not have a scanner or the means to get that into HMIS.
Is there any way where if a user has a webcam, they can select the category and file type and take a picture of, for example, a clients drivers license/ID card or Social Security Card and upload that under files for the client?2 votes -
Add Functionality to Sort Assessment Processor Subtotals
It would be helpful to have the ability to click and drag to adjust the order of the Subtotal categories. The functionality would be similar to re-ordering elements on screens.
Currently, the Sub-totals are displayed in the order they are configured. The ability to control this would improve the end user experience and give system admins better control over what their users see.

Tool to update case manager
When a case manager leaves an agency AAs are having a difficult time reassigning clients to another case manager. Some case managers will have a case load of over 100 clients. It would be great to have a tool for system administrators to remove the case manager and assign the clients to another case manager.

Toggle Additional Household Members in Attendance
The ability to toggle additional/all household members in an Attendance Module's scanned services would be incredibly helpful for agencies that provide daily, weekly, or monthly services for entire households; especially when only one or two members of the household are present but the service must be applied to everyone.

Allow the ability to edit Queue Remove reasons so they can be unique for each CoC versus systemwide.
Each coc should have the ability to adjust the reasons a referral is removed from the queue for evaluation of outcomes. Right now adding an option that is needed in CoC is difficult to train users in other CoC that it's not relevant in their community and to disregard that pick list option.

Ability to "link forms from history"
It would be helpful to be able to link forms from history. Our CoC has outreach programs that work with clients in encampments. We have forms in our system that outreach workers can complete to assist with homeless certifications. They can fill out the forms in the field, at the client level. When those clients enter an ES program, having the ability to link those client level forms into the program enrollment can assist with the documentation needed to show the client is homeless and with staff completing homeless verification forms with the client. We have other forms we use…

Tag users in referral notes / messages - or be able to have more than two people on a message thread
It would be great if in the body messages, such as the referral notes, you could tag other users so they could be brought in to the conversation easily to discuss the client in a thread - or be able to have communications with more than one other user on a single thread.

change constraints for veteran questions: year entered military service and year separated
If you answer yes to the veteran status question, and you don't know what year the client entered military service and what year they separated, you have to enter a random year in order to save the veteran status as yes. This is a data quality concern. These should either be changed to not be required, be given a data not collected answer option, or allow for all 0's to be entered as a sign the year is unknown.

"Other" Files could be turned off or removed
We are trying to make our program intake process "paperless", by having staff scan and upload files to the client's enrollment. We want to be able to run a report and verify that all the necessary paperwork has been uploaded. With "Other" so easy to use, it does not work.
Every file category has a file name which is always available, "Other". It allows staff to enter their own file name. It cannot be removed; it is part of every category as soon as you create it. "Other" is too easy to use. We have literally thousands of "other" files.…

Operating Start Date DQ Check
When you input the "Operating Start Date" the system checks for any "Project Start Dates" that occur before the selected date. If they exit, a message appears warning the user they have clients that were served before the selected Operating Start Date. This will also help resolve potential LSA Flag issues due to this conflict in data quality.

Sharing on Program Level
Sharing set at a program level instead of an agency.
Departments do not work like they should for programs like RHY. It would be better to have more flexibility on where visibility can be set.20 votesThank you for your feedback. We are currently reviewing this request.

Add mapping of UserID in DIT
Similar to the way that we can map Program IDs or Service IDs when importing a file with the DIT, it would be helpful to be able to map User IDs so that the user who created a client or enrollment record in another database can be tracked in Clarity by linking to existing Clarity user IDs. Then the user can be associated with the Clarity enrollment rather than the file importer or "Admin" when using the DIT API.

Add the functionality fo referral back to the queue when a referral is sent to a housing provider & does not result in a HMID
Adding the functionality for a referral to be sent back to the CQ when a referral is sent from the CQ to a housing provider that does not result in a HMID and the exit destination is still a homeless category. Allowing referral be return to the queue keeping the history of the original referral, similar to a referral that is denied by a PH provider and sent back to the queue would be very helpful.
