I wrote about this in length in a support ticket and wanted to add that content here, for better context. I hope this issue can get some attention!
Here's the thing:
Street Outreach projects, now REQUIRED to record contacts via the Current Living Situation ASSESSMENT, are known for having the most occurences of duplicates due to the nature of their work and population of clients. So it follows that this should be expected. When it happened in the past, we could link services, as you know -- after unlinking them from one of the duplicate enrollments. However, now we are looking at a lot of time for staff to do this manually, and it is simply not fair that the design of this new data element in the software results in this setback.PLEASE make the Current Living Situation assessment linkable to different enrollments within the same project. This is very much needed.
Thank you for this suggestion! Our community also finds this very restricting for the same reasons, and in addition, sometimes persons are erroneously removed from a queue and we simply cannot undo the removal based on how bitfocus has programmed the referral functionality. There are too many instances where not having this ability compromises the integrity of our HMIS CE data.
