  1. When scanning in or adding clients in the Attendance module, have an actual pop up appear for those who have a public alert.

Currently, an icon will appear next to the client's name and then you must hover over the client name and then click on the public alert to see it.

This causes delays for shelters that need to check in a large number of clients.

An immediate pop up would ensure that End Users have the ability to both quickly check many people in AND catch important public alerts.

  2. While it is possible to require completion of individual fields on Assessments, users can still skip an entire Assessment that might contain important fields, like Current Living Situation.

it would be great to have a way to require completion of an Assessment within a data collection workflow.

  3. In order to be considered for PSH opportunities, a participant must have documentation of disability as well as chronicity. Some individuals have enough history in HMIS under the Programs tab to be considered documented for the chronicity requirement of Chronic Homelessness and if there were a field that added that history together and gave us a yes or no answer, this could decrease the barriers in obtaining PSH opportunities.

  4. We're having an issue where certain housing navigators are not able to see or leave referral notes if they are not working under an agency that sent or is receiving the referral. Our community voted to set Service/Programs/Assessments/Events Placed as "basic shared," and because these are all grouped together, we can't open up sharing for referrals for certain access roles because the agency sharing settings override any access role permissions. A solution to this would be to include referral notes in Basic Shared, since leaving a note is not changing the status or behavior of the referral in any way.…

  5. I understand that developers are planning on improvements to the HMIS Population Over Time model and I'd really like to see the it go back farther than two years. If the point of this is longitudinal analysis, it should go back farther, especially given that the LSA looks back three years. Ideally I would like to see it go back to 2012 so we can dig deeper into client histories similar to the canned CLNT-127 report.

  6. It would be very, very helpful to be able to see the HUD destination at program exit in the program history screen. As of now, we have to click into the program and click over to the exit screen to see this.

  7. We have an assessment that chronicles the housing status of our clients. We would like there to only be ONE assessment so users are redirected to updating the existing one.

Can you add a toggle that would block any additional assessments from being completed if the client's account already has one?

  8. As communities develop more complex Coordinated Entry Systems, more flexible referral status tracking is becoming a priority. It would add significant flexibility if system admins could add custom fields to the Referral Screen to capture additional details about referral's status. For example, adding a follow up question to "Reason Denied" to capture an additional layer of detail about why a referral was denied.

  9. We would like to request that the case manager receive a system notification when assigned to a referral. Currently users can only see this information if they go to the "Case Manager" tab within the Caseload tab.

  10. Create a warning to notify users when they enter a Housing Move-in Date prior to the Enrollment Date. It should also prevent the user from saving the enrollment. The Housing Move-in Date cannot be prior to the client's enrollment date even if it is a PH to PH transfer. This creates an error on the APR. The APR in Clarity categorizes this as not being housed even though there is a recorded housing move-in date.

This causes problems when trying to troubleshoot the issue.

  12. Before saving a Start Date or End Date, validate the date is a valid calendar date. This could also check for dates recorded prior to 1/1/1915 as noted in HMIS Reporting Glossary. This could also check for dates in the future and give a warning message when the user saves that it is a date in the future to confirm accuracy. This could apply to both enrollments and services.

  13. Allow admin to create their own system live markers - this might provide solutions to all the live marker related improvement requests here.

Doing so would grant us more freedom over our own systems and and meet the needs / preferences of our CoCs.

  14. When moving an enrollment from one project/program to another due to a data entry error, any services, notes, files etc. do not follow or get moved to the correct enrollment which requires staff to delete the services, notes, files that might have been placed at the incorrect project/program and then re-enter all of those items. It would be helpful if the "move" tool moved all items related to the enrollment.

  15. Right now the oldest one is first. On almost every screen, the "history" is displayed with the most recent items first. Look at both History tabs, both Assessment tabs, the Program tab, and so on. But when you edit an enrollment and look on the right-side display, the oldest one is first. In order to find out if something recent is missing you have to page through them. This display should show the most recent first like all the other tabs. I tried to paste a screenshot but it did not appear here.

  16. A customer has requested the ability to have an indicator on the Profile screen that notes if a client is housed in their system. This could be done with the ability to deploy a Live Marker for "Housing Move-In Date Entered" on the profile screen or the creation of a new Live Marker that calculates a "housed" status across the system. This live marker in conjunction with the "Warning" functionality could provide a quick display of housed status.

  17. Currently, within an enrollment users can only assign staff members who have the agency where the enrollment lives as their "primary" agency (unless assigning themselves). So, if a user has access to multiple agencies, other users can only assign that user to an enrollment in that user's primary agency.

The drop down picklist for assigned staff SHOULD include all staff with access to that agency, even if it is not their primary agency.

  18. When you create a site of type "Standalone Unit", the system creates a default Building called "Standalone Site Building". If you have multiple sites of this type, you cannot tell them apart in the filter. Please update the naming convention to include the site name in some fashion. That puts the onus on us, the customer, to choose distinct Site Names, which I think is appropriate. I suggest "Standalone" + "Site Name", but I am open to other ideas.

  19. Allowing providers to assign units at the acceptance of referrals will minimize the administrative burden of connecting an enrollment to the specific unit after enrollment completion. This is particularly helpful in emergency shelters.

  20. A customer has suggested that having a screen or other place to collect sheltered PIT data counts in Clarity for non-participating agencies/programs would be helpful. Rather than needing to collect this data in external places like Excel and then blending with Clarity sheltered PIT data, it would be great to have all the PIT data in one permanent place. This data could then be pulled in to the PIT/HIC reports in the Clarity report library.
