Assign more than one case manager / allow Care Teams to get all notifications
We have a lot of different folks on care teams in order to get people housed. Adding people to a care team in Clarity does not mean they will receive notifications about the client's referral and housing status. It would greatly improve coordination of care if people on the care team actually received all notifications regarding the client. That, and /or the option to add more than one Case Manager or Navigator (either by additional field, or changing that field type to a multi-select, or both) so that providers working with clients are kept informed.

CoCs should be able to customize denial reasons
Our CoC had agreed upon a list of denial reasons. We have been using this list for years. When we switched to Clarity, we learned that we cannot customize the list of denial reasons. We also cannot delete any of the reasons. Since the denial reasons don't seem to be HUD mandated, and CoCs can decide what those reasons are, why can't we customize?

Allow the ability to edit Queue Remove reasons so they can be unique for each CoC versus systemwide.
Each coc should have the ability to adjust the reasons a referral is removed from the queue for evaluation of outcomes. Right now adding an option that is needed in CoC is difficult to train users in other CoC that it's not relevant in their community and to disregard that pick list option.

Add the functionality fo referral back to the queue when a referral is sent to a housing provider & does not result in a HMID
Adding the functionality for a referral to be sent back to the CQ when a referral is sent from the CQ to a housing provider that does not result in a HMID and the exit destination is still a homeless category. Allowing referral be return to the queue keeping the history of the original referral, similar to a referral that is denied by a PH provider and sent back to the queue would be very helpful.

Retain Historical Opening IDs with Referral Connections in Looker
Currently, Opening IDs with referral connections can only be viewed in Looker's CE Model for referral status's that are Pending or Pending - In Process. Retaining historical opening id information for all referral status types (completed, denied, etc.) would allow for trend analysis on the length of time between when a unit is posted and the date a client is referred to the unit.

Allow custom fields related to Referral Status to be added to a Referral Screen
As communities develop more complex Coordinated Entry Systems, more flexible referral status tracking is becoming a priority. It would add significant flexibility if system admins could add custom fields to the Referral Screen to capture additional details about referral's status. For example, adding a follow up question to "Reason Denied" to capture an additional layer of detail about why a referral was denied.

Case Manager Notification when assigned a referral
We would like to request that the case manager receive a system notification when assigned to a referral. Currently users can only see this information if they go to the "Case Manager" tab within the Caseload tab.

Prompt new referral to CQ when a new CE assessment is completed
Is there a way to automatically remove households from the current Community Queue when a new VI-SPDAT is completed, so they appear on the correct priority list?
For example, if a client originally completes a Singles VI-SPDAT and later completes a Family VI-SPDAT, they remain stuck on the singles queue. We need a way for the system to automatically remove them from the singles queue and allow the family VI-SPDAT referral to appear on the family queue instead.
The only solution we have found is deleting the old queue referral, and re-referring to the queue from the new VISPDAT. We…

Add Program Setting to Allow or Disallow Direct Referrals
We often get users making "direct referrals" from the Referrals tab on the client profile page in error (they should instead be making a referral from the queue). There is currently a setting on the Program page called "Direct Unit/Bed Referrals", which is related to Inventory. It would be great if there was setting called "Direct Referrals" (options could be Disabled, Optional, Required) to first determine if any direct referrals are allowed to the program. Then the "Direct Unit/Bed Referrals" setting could be sub-setting to determine the parameters of the direct referrals (if allowed).

Enhance Program Availability Functionality and Customization Options
Currently, communities can add certain custom fields to Program Availability to track details on program openings, however, the ability to customize the availability form is limited (e.g. no dynamic screen options, limited field types, inability to edit default fields). In its current state, communities may choose to use 3rd party form solutions outside of Clarity to track program openings or use workarounds to structure the availability form to capture local information (e.g. using a field as a label).
The Availability Form could be improved by providing screen functionality, offering all field types, and allowing for the editing of default fields…

Update the Eligibility function to allow household size based on enrollment size
According to the Program Setup: Eligibility page it's noted "When establishing eligibility criteria based on Poverty Guidelines, household size is calculated based on the client's "global" household (the client-level household) and is NOT based on the number of members in a group enrollment." It would be extremely helpful if there was an option to allow household size to be determined based on the enrolled household members using the eligibility function and not at the global level. Is this an option BF is looking to add to Clarity HS in the future?

Create a separate access right for the referrals tab in client records
Currently the Referrals access right allows both the Global REFERRALS tab and the REFERRALS tab in client records. There are multiple use cases where we need users to have access to one or the other but not both of these. We would like to be able to separately assign rights to the referrals tab in client records. Thanks!

Referral Tabs - Ability to Sort by Date
When looking through the completed and denied tabs, some of our partner agencies are having to go navigate to the 10, 15, 20th page of clients to get to the most recent completed or denied referrals. There is the current ability to sort by date, but it is only oldest to newest. It would be extremely helpful to be able to sort newest to oldest. Thanks!

Remove ability to deny a Direct Referral to a Community Queue
Currently if you deny a Direct Referral, you have the option to reassign the client to any Community Queue, regardless of if the client has an assessment for that queue (or any assessment at all). This results in an uncontrolled backdoor to ANY Community Queue.
As our community has expanded the use of Direct Referrals, we are getting individuals placed on queues that are supposed to have high thresholds for placement, or that are only intended for certain subpopulations. This function subverts the logic that you need an assessment to be placed on a queue, which is consistent everywhere else…

Allowing for Household Member Toggle in Referrals
It would be nice if it could be an option to allow for toggling household members in a referral the way you can in a service or program enrollment.
Our staff has really struggled with the idea that only HoH needs to have the referral sent to the queue. This means that on other household member(s) profile(s) it does not show them as "Client has an active entry on the
Community Queue". This has resulted in duplicate referrals being added for the same household. It would solve confusion if you could toggle on individuals included in the referral so the…

Create an AMI Tracked Characteristic based on Program Eligibility
Allow for a tracked characteristic to be built off the AMI data uploaded to system variables to ensure that an AMI tracked characteristic can be created to directly match the AMI eligibility that is set up under a program. This will aid matchmakers in making appropriate referrals from the queue.

Edit options under the "Mode" dropdown for Community Queue Sorting
I would love to be able to control which assessment processors are visible under the "Mode" drop-down so that only processors that are related to coordinated entry are visible.

Providers are accidentally referring clients to the CQ under a closed CE enrollment, can error messages mitigate this?
Providers are entering CE assessments under closed CE enrollments, referring those assessments to the CQ, then wondering why their clients are not coming up for CES referrals. There's no error message or alert to keep people from entering CE assessments under a closed enrollment. Can there be?

Allow referral notes on snoozed records
Currently the system doesn't allow you to leave referral notes on snoozed CQ records. We snooze records if clients aren't yet chronic but will become chronic after a period of time, and sometimes navigators are assigned to snoozed clients to get the ball rolling for a potential housing opportunity. It would be great to be able to leave notes on the referral record to document any progress even if the record is snoozed. Thanks!
