  1. When a Clarity user leaves and agency, there should be a way to switch all clients on that user's caseload en masse and change them to another assigned staff member, rather than having to go to each client's program page individually.

  2. It would be useful to be able to link files to specific services. For example when we enter a Rapid Rehousing financial service I'd like to be able to link the associated file back up to that specific service.

  3. We know that staff creating/updating any screen (enrollment, assessment, service) is available in Looker. But it is completely baffling that this information is not immediately visible in the front-end of Clarity, from the history tab, etc. A supervisor or another program staff member should be able to click on a history tab, assessments screen, etc. and immediately see who completed a certain action. This is necessary for really basic management.

  4. The Program Roster Report (there may be others, but this is the most pressing) spits out start and end dates in very strange format in Excel. The columns are not formatted as dates but as text. You can tell because you can't use date formats, and sorting goes alphabetically (month > day > year) rather than chronologically. Just reformatting does not seem to work - you have to actually add a new column with a datevalue(...) formula.
    This report is one of the most used by end users, many of whom are not adept in Excel. Please fix the structure…

  5. Similar to the way that System Administrators can add custom fields to a Program Set-up screen, it would be helpful to be able to add custom fields to other screen types, especially the user profile screens. This would allow tracking of things like date of training completion, or notes about a user like reasons for locking/inactivating an account, tracking security breaches, or marking roles like who is an agency administrator for billing new user accounts.

  6. We would be looking to have an option added to the "queueremovereason" picklist that says something along the lines of "Housed in Non-HMIS Inventory", so that when these situations arise end users can remove the client from the Community Queue and select a more appropriate reason for removal.

  7. We are using Clarity HMIS and our single Community Queue for our Emergency Rental Assistance Programs, and want to ensure clients are being equally referred without preference to the agencies administering the program. Our Homeless Prevention Programs Coordinator came up with the idea of a "lottery"-type referral process.

    Would it be possible to configure something like a random “lottery”-type referral setting that would send an equal number of referrals to each Agency?

  8. When a user forgets their password or if they try multiple times and get their account locked, allow them the option to change their password automatically. By clicking a forgot password link, the system will automatically send them an email to the address we have on their profile. Clicking that link will send them to a webpage where they can change the password (and unlock the account if needed).

    Allow CoC's to have a customized message instructing the users the phone number and email to reach out to if they are continuing to have login issues.

  9. Hi Clarity Devs,
    It would be helpful to have the ability to select the time at which a schedule report should run. Each time I schedule reports for a day, they haven't run by the time I'm up and need them around 6a. Allowing a user-specified time for the report to run instead of an arbitrary time on the selected date would solve this issue.

  10. Could you please change the Clarity user interface to check for keystrokes/mouse clicks before asking whether or not I am using Clarity?

    Right now it seems to ask after a certain period of time regardless of whether or not I am actively using the product. Sometimes Clarity even interrupts what I am typing to ask if I am still using it! Haha

  11. Whenever the HUD data standards are updated, we find that we have to replicate Bitfocus's constraints for our custom screens. Instead, adding the option to apply the already made constraint to the screen would be useful...either at the field level (Use current constraint for any screen when field is added) option or screen level (copy constraint to screen when field is added) option...

  13. The list of attendance services is very large in our community, often resulting in 50+ pages of services. When in the attendance module to select a service to view, we’d like the following enhancements:
    Add a search box to allow the user to easily locate the service they want to work with. This should mainly be a search based on service name, but also allow for an advanced search on type (attendance or reservation), program linked with, or service category.
    Add a column to the view that shows which program the service is linked with.

  14. Allow for the ability to mark a slot offline (with a date range), as well as a dropdown for the reason offline (maintenance, staff use, etc). This should be able to be configured directly on the bed reservation page by the service provider without having to access the setup/management pages.

  15. Allow for the assignment of multiple clients per slot to facilitate household data collection. Currently, only one person can be assigned to a reservation, and this makes households difficult to pull data for. It would be much more streamlined if providers could assign multiple clients to a single room and have that reflected on the slot view as well as when pulling reports/Looks.

  16. Add New Option on Services to Allow/Disallow Future Dates

    Can we add a feature that will allow sys. admins to control whether or not users can date services past present date? i.e.: a on/off toggle that can be toggled off, if we don't want users to extend their service dates past today's date.

    Reason for this being that many users are getting complacent in recording bed services, so instead of manually inputting services for a day at a time, they record for weeks to months resulting in inaccurate data and reporting.

  17. The ability to run Program Review Data Quality reports for all programs in an agency would be very helpful. We have agencies with 10+ programs and having to run reports for each program is extremely time consuming. If we had the ability to choose "all programs" it would save me multiple hours per week.

  19. Custom services are great because they can be set on either an agency or system level. This means that agency managers can set them up. This is NOT the case for the new Note categories field, which can only be set in the field editor - and therefore flow across the entire system and can only be set by system admins. This makes no sense.   20. For some reason, the Services Model in Looker doesn't contain detailed program info (including which program enrollment ID it's tied to). At the same time, the Client Model doesn't contain Service Item information, which we need whenever we pull Service info. Please adjust this by making enrollment, program, and service item info available in one place.
