Automatically Recalculate Goals based on service date
As of the June 2024 Feature release, Goals now automatically recalculate when their associated measure is met or not met. For Goals with a Service Based Measure, the goal will automatically recalculate using the current date not the date entered for the Service.
For example, let's say I have a Goal for a client to receive an employment service, that is measured by whether a employment service category service is issued. If today's current date is 7/10/2024, and I issue an employment service with the date back-dated as 6/30/2024, then the Goal will automatically recalculate and the accomplished date will reflect the current date of 7/10/2024.
I propose that service based Goals use the service date for the Goal's accomplished date. If this change was made then in the example above the Goal's accomplished date would be 6/30/20424 the same as the service which indicates the goal was met.
This would improve the functionality of Goals by ensuring that the accomplished date of service based goals matches the date when the goal was in fact met (i.e. the service date).
