Increase Uploaded File Size Limit
Currently, the max allowed file size for upload is 4 MB (4112 KB). Is it possible to increase the file size for upload to 7MB? We have a few providers that are attempting to go paperless and require to upload large files.
Thank you for your feedback. We are currently reviewing this request.
This is very important. Some lease agreements and housing documents exceed the limit size.

We would also love the ability to adjust the file size limit within our CoC or even a general increase in the allowable file size - allowing for compressed file formats would also help with this issue.

This would be greatly useful and would fix a major workflow issue we're trying to alleviate in our CoC. I'd love to hear an update on the progress made since March 17, 2023.

I hope this is still being looked into. Our agency is starting to use this feature more and more. Some of the documents some of our agencies want to upload are pretty large and need to be broken down into two seperate file. If Bitfocus can get this file size upload to at least 10mb and allow for ZIP files, that may help!

This is cited as a systems and equipment challenge in the Santa Clara Technology Needs Assessment: "While Clarity and other systems providers use have the capability to upload scanned documents, several agencies reported challenges due to scanning equipment limitations. For example, one provider was unable to upload into Clarity because the agency’s scanner created a PDF file that was far too large."
Our CES team has done a lot of work to reconstruct our chronic homeless verification packet and train providers and housing programs on how to use it. A completed packet is typically about 10MB. Having to switch to a shorter and less comprehensive document would be a big limitation for our CES operations. Please increase file size limit.

As a provider our documentation requirements continue to increase where packets we are required to upload are well over 40 pages, and quality is important since we (and our funders) must be able to read the documents clearly.

Please allow upload of file attachments bigger than 4 MB.
