  1. Events don’t appear in the History tab with the quick view "hover" functionality that services have. This functionality allows a user to save time when reviewing client history by hovering over the speech bubble icon to see the service note rather than clicking into each service one by one to review.

    For users who now use the Events tab to track the bulk of their client work, this quick view functionality has been lost, and as a result, their work to review client history has inadvertently been made more time-consuming and challenging.

  2. Make a report that allows automatic upload for the System Performance Measures into HDX. HDX does allow this; we just need a CSV file to make it work.

  3. HUD's specs for SPM 4 included CoC funded Safe Havens in project types but did not include the Safe Haven funding source in their list of funding sources. I noticed the error in both the Looker fields and Pentaho reports in Clarity. I submitted an AAQ where HUD responded that it was a mistake in the specs and that CoC-funded Safe Havens were supposed to be included. They said that they would update it in the next release of the specs. BitFocus Data Services team was made aware of the problem but they said they will not update the programming…

    Both Looker and the canned Pentaho SPM reports have been updated to include funding source 6 HUD: CoC – Safe Haven for Measure 4. HUD acknowledged the typo via an AAQ and will be updating the specifications at a later date as a timeline associated with the update has not yet been provided.

  6. Add a dimension to Client Model to return the last CE Event Date. It's quite ugly, if not possible to calculated the last CE Event Date.

  7. Many local partners are willing to accept an ID from HMIS, but only if it has the date of birth. Adding the DOB to the ID card would go a long way towards making the ID more useful for our clients.

  9. Current CE APR is a System Administrator level report and parameters only allow for full system output. Although that is the overall purpose of the report to HUD, customers would like the ability to run this report at the agency level. If the current CE APR is made available to a non Sys Admin, they will get report content that does not follow sharing restrictions in the same way that other reports do. Customers would also like agency level reporting for any other key HUD reports.

  10. We have added several custom fields to the Encampment screen to allow us to track information not included on the Default Encampment Screen. However, when trying to view the data we've collected in Looker, none of the custom fields are available to be added.

  12. Customers have shared that they would prefer that units default to offline when a client is exited from a unit. They have concerns about units defaulting to available because it may need to be cleaned or may need maintenance before becoming available.

    However, it may be beneficial for units to become available immediately for programs like shelters where beds turnover quickly.

    The recommendation is to have a setting for each building indicating if for that building units should default to offline or available when clients are exited.

  13. When using the “Add Connection” for a pending referral, the drop-down box of programs includes active and inactive enrollments. This causes confusion for the user when the client has been enrolled multiple times in the same program of which to choose, and often the wrong enrollment is selected. Would it be possible to include start and exit dates or only include active enrollments in the “Add Connection” drop down?

  14. It would be very helpful to display prominently the name of the City or continuum on the log-in page. We have agencies that access multiple Clarity systems (Los Angeles, Long Beach, Orange County) and the log-in page all look exactly the same.

  15. I would love to see a place on the profile page to capture a client's 'nickname' or street name' and have that be searchable.

    especially for street outreach purposed, clients will often be hesitant to provide their 'government name' but will provide their 'aka/nickname/street name'.

  16. Add functionality to bulk delete or mark all as read for Clarity messages. Some of our users have hundreds of message notifications of referrals because of our recent CES migration, and they would like a quick way to clear them out.

  18. In order to clean up our Coordinated Entry and Community Queue data, we sometimes need to re-enter/edit/backdate referrals. Our COC analyzes metrics like time between referral date to housing, referral date to program entry, etc. and applying the current system date when adding a referral isn't always accurate.

To accommodate data standards compliance, please provide access to response categories 10-15 for data element 4.20 (CE Event: Referral Events) for direct data entry for communities who utilize Clarity for client profile and case management but whose assessment, matching, and referral solutions are external to the Clarity software and who are not in need of the add-on module of Community Queue.

  20. Communities have expressed a desire to re-purpose some HUD System Performance Measures as performance measures at the Agency and/or Program level.

    It would be great if Bitfocus would make changes to the System Performance Measures in Looker to facilitate the creation of these new, local performance measures.
