Add Overall Data Quality Score to HUDX-225 HMIS Data Quality Reports
Please add an overall data quality score % (preferably with a corresponding letter grade; 90-100 = A, 80-89 = B, etc) to the top of the existing [HUDX-225]/[HUDX-225-AD] HMIS Data Quality reports available in Clarity. The denominator of this score would be the sum of all possible data quality issues per table row in the report and the numerator is the sum of all total number of errors identified per table row (all in line with the programming specifications in the HMIS Standard Reporting Terminology Glossary).
This overall Data Quality % and score would help provide admins, agencies, and end users with a quick way to determine how their data looks and could also be useful for project performance monitoring.
Additionally, national conferences like NHSDC have stressed the need for providing agencies & end users with data quality scorecards associated with HMIS data, referencing how providing an overall score or letter grade typically results in more of a response and desire to correct data. Currently, this can only be achieved via manually manipulating results from the HUD DQ report. It would be much more ideal if Clarity offered this overall DQ score by default.
